Hirer / driver:
Hirer must be over 23 years old and have valid license.
Some campers may require driver license up to 7500 kg.
Booking:
At booking the hirer must sign a rental agreement. To make the contract valid, the contract must be complete with a valid
credit card number with exp. date.
Delivery / return of the camper:
Most delivery / returns is on Mondays and Fridays. Delivery to the customer is between 13.00 and 16.00 hours. Return is between
08.00 and 10.00 hours. Other times of delivery can be arranged. Unannounced late delivery is charged with ¼ of a days rent
per hour.
The camper must be cleaned inside and outside. The toilet and waste water tank must be emptied. The camper must be returned
with full fuel tank. Use of propane gas will be measured. In winter time, all water must be drained from the camper on return.
Parking - / speed tickets:
Parking tickets, speed tickets, toll tickets or fines for illegal use of red diesel, that the hirer does not cover, will
be charged when the rental company get the claims. There is a handling fee for tickets of NOK 250,-.
Hirers responsibility:
The camper is checked before the rent period. During the rent period, the hirer is responsible for making sure that the camper
function due to the normal driving requirements. This include filling of oil, radiator fluid, etc., if necessary. If errors
occur, the rental company must immediately be contacted, before measures are taken to fix the problem.
We expect the customer to use the camper with caution, to make the trip successful. The campers are smoke free. No smoking
allowed. The campers have extensive info folders for further information.
Cancelling the order:
If the order is cancelled, there is a fee of NOK 1800,- that will be deducted from the deposit. If the order is cancelled
less than 30 days before the rent period starts, the fee is 50% of the rent, if we can not find a new hirer. Less than 5 days
befor pick up there is no refund. Be sure to have a travel insurance to cover unwanted cancellations.
Breakdown / crash:
The rental company does not compensate for lost vacation time or lost earnings due to a breakdown or severe damage of the
reserved camper. The deposit and rent will be fully returned if we can not find a camper to replace the damaged camper. We
will do our best to replace the camper.
If damage or errors occur during the rent period, the hirer will be compensated for the amount of days it takes to repair
the damage. There is no compensation for delay less than 12 hours, due to repair of the caravan. If the damage is caused by
the hirer, no compensation will be given. Most insurance companies have free home transport if the repair is prolonged.
Insurance:
The rent include comprehensive insurance and personal liability insurance. If hirer causes damage that is covered by the
comprehensive insurance, the hirer must pay a owners share of NOK 15.000,- per damage. Glass damage; NOK 2.000,-. The deposit
can be used to cover this.
In the case of robbery or theft from the camper, the insurance only covers equipment that belongs to the camper. Customers
are advised to have their own travel insurance. If the damage is caused by a third party, the hirer is responsible for the
damage until the third party signs a damage report. If the hirer causes damage that is not covered by the insurance (filling
of wrong fuel, filling of fuel in water tank, etc.) the hirer must cover the expenses.
All campers are connected to road services (NAF, Falcken, Viking).
IMPORTANT: If damage occur, damage report must be filled out.
Payment:
Rent and deposit must be paid before the rent period starts. All rental aggreements must contain a valid credit card number
with exp date. We accept VIsa, MAsterCard and American Express.
If mileage exceeds the free mileage for the rent period, this will be charged at separate fees after the rent period.
Deposit:
The deposit is NOK 7000,-. If the camper is returned at the agreed time, cleaned and without damage, the deposit is not charged.
The deposit can be charged in cash or reserved on a valid credit card. Extra use of propane gas and smaller damage is deducted
from the deposit .
Handling fee:
Lump sum of NOK 900,- that comes in addition to the rent. This because we rent out private campers in the high season.
Airport delivery:
We deliver at Rygge airport, Oslo/Torp Airport and Oslo Main Airport/Gardermoen. Prices for delivery at Torp is NOK 400,-
and at Rygge or Gardermoen it is NOK 1200,-. The same price for return at the airport.
Extra equipment for rent:
• Bedlinen and towels, per person: NOK 290.-,
• Camping table: NOK 70.-
• camping chair: NOK 50.- ( up to two weeks rent)
• 14" TV: NOK 550.- per week.
Cleaning / emptying:
If the rental company shall clean the caravan after the rent period, this must be arranged before the rent period starts.
Outside cleaning, NOK 500,-,
Inside cleaning, NOK 700,-.
Cleaning of kitchen tools, NOK 200,-,
Emptying waste water / toilet, NOK 900,-.
